Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes the information management within the Pediatric Support mobile application, developed by Luis Suñol Mateo.

1. Data Collection and Processing

The App is designed to operate locally and privately. It does not request or process identifying personal data such as names, email addresses, GPS location, or advertising identifiers.

2. Health Data

To provide its functionality, the App allows the user to enter the age and weight of the pediatric patient. Regarding this data:

Local processing only: Age and weight are processed exclusively on the user's device and are never transmitted to external servers or shared with third parties.
Purpose: This data is used solely to perform the calculations and queries within the App during the active session.
No persistent storage: The App does not store these values permanently or synchronize them with any server.
User control: The user can delete this data at any time by uninstalling the application or clearing the app data from the device settings.

3. Data Retention

Our data retention policy is as follows:

Entered age and weight: This data remains on the user's device only during active use of the App and is deleted when the App is closed or uninstalled. The developer does not retain any of this data.
Crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics): Anonymous technical crash reports are retained by Google/Firebase for a maximum period of 90 days, in accordance with their standard retention policy, after which they are automatically deleted.

4. Diagnostics and Stability (Firebase Crashlytics)

To improve application reliability, we use Firebase Crashlytics (a service provided by Google Ireland Ltd.).

Purpose: To identify the causes of technical failures (crashes) to resolve them efficiently.
Data Collected: In the event of an error, anonymous reports are sent, including device type, OS version, and stack traces.
Privacy & Terms: Data processing is governed by the Firebase Privacy and Security and Google Privacy Policy.

5. Connectivity and Internet

The App requires an Internet connection solely for sending the aforementioned crash reports. All other App functions remain fully autonomous after installation.

6. Third-Party Services

With the exception of Firebase Crashlytics for diagnostics, the App does not integrate behavioral analytics, advertising services, or third-party SDKs that track user activity.

7. User Rights and Changes

Since no personal identification data is collected and no health data is transmitted to external servers, rights to access or deletion are guaranteed by default. This policy may be updated to reflect legal or technical changes, becoming effective upon publication.
